Ride For Red a Success
Eleven riders braved the chilly morning and rode for the American Red Cross' local office. $255 was raised for the ARC. The temperatures started off in the low thirties and warmed to a "comfortable" 40 something. Everyone seemed to enjoy each other's company. Kath Peterson provided some great treats and hot coffee and hot chocolate at the Peminee River Bridge (Peme Bon Won River). Talk was encouraging to repeat the effort next October with an annual color ride and fund raiser for the Red Cross.

Thanks Tim for your wonderful effort in supporting the American Red Cross! I know biking is a great form of exercise and enjoyment for many in our area. Thanks for taking the time out of your life and for keeping the needs of the American Red Cross visible to our area.
